The  Space Café “33 minutes with  Pierre Lionnet", Research and Managing Director at ASD-Eurospace, in conversation with Torsten Kriening, publisher of SpaceWatch.Global was conducted on 28th February 2023. Pierre is an economist with >25 years of experience in the space sector. He is a well-known expert of space markets and technology trends. He is tweeting on space economics and markets

Our Space Café “33 minutes with Michael Gschweitl about “ESA BIC Switzerland: the good, the bad, and.. Space” took place on Tuesday, 14 February 2023. Michael Gschweitl is the Technical Lead at ESA BIC Switzerland, the Business Incubation Program (BIC) of the European Space Agency (ESA) for Switzerland, which is run by ETH Zurich.

Our Space Café “33 minutes with Markus Fritz ” about Mobility and Space – is Europe too late to win the Race? took place on Tuesday, 31 January 2023. In the first part of the conversation, the two discussed the current state of the satellite industry and the challenges it faces. Fritz explained that the industry is in the midst of a transformation and is facing many challenges, such as the cost of launching satellites and the competition between traditional satellite companies and new players entering the market.

Our Space Café WebTalk “33 minutes with Matthias Wachter - Departure or standstill – Why 2023 will be decisive for European space?” took place on Tuesday, 17th January. Matthias is Managing Director of the German NewSpace Initiative and Head of International Cooperation, Security Policy, Raw Materials and Space at the Federation of German Industries (BDI).

Our Space Café “33 minutes with Michael Byers” about the International open letter "Reducing risks from uncontrolled reentries of rocket bodies and other space objects" took place on Tuesday, 3rd January 2023. Michael Byers holds the Canada Research Chair in Global Politics and International Law at the University of British Columbia.

Our Space Café “33 minutes with Joel Spark” took place on Tuesday, 6th December at Spire Glasgow. Joel is an ISU (international Space University) alumnus and the Co-Founder of Spire. He is currently the company’s Chief Satellite Architect and General Manager of Space Services - more on that later. He holds a Master’s degree in Space Management from the ISU and a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Carleton University, specializing in structures, systems, and vehicle design.

Our Space Café “33 minutes with Marco Ferrazzani - ESA Ministerial Meeting of 2022, the outcomes and the way forward” took place on Tuesday, 29th November. Marco Ferrazzani is the Senior Legal Counsel and Head of the Legal Services department at the European Space Agency (ESA), based at its headquarters in Paris. He is an advisor to the ESA Director General and to the ESA Council. He sits on a number of boards including those of the European Centre for Space Law (ECSL) and the International Institute of Space Law (IISL).

Our Space Café “33 minutes live from Airbus Bremen with Laura Todd and Kai Bergemann” about our path to the Moon (Orion), the European service module, (ESM), and Artemis took place on Tuesday, 15th November at the Airbus Integration Facility in Bremen.
