Our Space Café “33 minutes with Joel Spark” took place on Tuesday, 6th December at Spire Glasgow. Joel is an ISU (international Space University) alumnus and the Co-Founder of Spire. He is currently the company’s Chief Satellite Architect and General Manager of Space Services - more on that later. He holds a Master’s degree in Space Management from the ISU and a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Carleton University, specializing in structures, systems, and vehicle design.

Our Space Café “33 minutes with Marco Ferrazzani - ESA Ministerial Meeting of 2022, the outcomes and the way forward” took place on Tuesday, 29th November. Marco Ferrazzani is the Senior Legal Counsel and Head of the Legal Services department at the European Space Agency (ESA), based at its headquarters in Paris. He is an advisor to the ESA Director General and to the ESA Council. He sits on a number of boards including those of the European Centre for Space Law (ECSL) and the International Institute of Space Law (IISL).

Our Space Café “33 minutes live from Airbus Bremen with Laura Todd and Kai Bergemann” about our path to the Moon (Orion), the European service module, (ESM), and Artemis took place on Tuesday, 15th November at the Airbus Integration Facility in Bremen.

Our Space Café WebTalk “33 minutes with the CITC team - Outlook and Insights into Connecting the World from the Skies” took place on Tuesday, 1st November, learning about space in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Our Space Café WebTalk “33 minutes with Paul Liias - Why should you go to Tallinn, Estonia in October?” Took place on Tuesday, 18th October. Paul is Head of Space Policy at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communication. He created the Estonian Space Policy and Program 2020-2027 and he is currently working on Estonian national space legislation and a decentralized e-government solution for Space Traffic Management.

Our Space Café WebTalk “33 minutes with Dennis Stone about the World Space Week 2022: An insight into space and sustainability” took place on Tuesday, 4th October. Dennis is a volunteer president of the World Space Week Association, the global coordinator of the UN-declared World Space Week

Our “33 minutes with the Space Communications Alliance - The next level in Space Outreach and Space Communications?” took place on Tuesday, 13th September. Torsten talked to founders Lukasz Wilczynski, Judith Delany, Remco Timmermans, Stella Tsitsoula, Nikos Karanassios and Josep Iglesias. Spacewatch.Global is also one of the founding members of the Alliance.

Our Space Café WebTalk “33 minutes with Davide Petrillio - Is there (enough) room for the youth in the European space sector?” took place on Tuesday, 30th August. Davide has currently been appointed as Executive Director of the SGAC (Space Generation Advisory Council).

Our Space Café WebTalk “33 minutes with Prof. Dr. Kai-Uwe Schrogl - Europe’s Space Ambitions – what’s up during this autumn?” Took place on Tuesday, 16th August, ending our 7-week summer break. Kai-Uwe is the Special Advisor for Political Affairs at the European Space Agency (ESA) at its Headquarters in Paris.

Our Space Café WebTalk “33 minutes with Graham Turnock - The Accelerators: ESA’s plans to warp drive European Space” took place on Tuesday, 28th June. Graham Turnock has been a Special Advisor to the European Space Agency (ESA) since 2021. Before that, he was Chief Executive of the UK Space Agency.
