Space Café WebTalk Recap Dr. Malcolm Davis on Australia’s recent space developments

In this week’s Space Cafè WebTalk, Dr. Malcolm DavisSenior Analyst at Australian Strategic Policy Institute, Australia talked about the current strategic developments in Australia’s space ambitions.

The addressed the following topics:

  • how space policy has changed in recent years, moving away from dependency to sovereign space capability;
  • burden sharing in orbit with allies;
  • confronting a contested space domain and the need for space control; and
  • implications for Australia’s growing commercial space sector and the Australian Space Agency.

He also answered relevant questions from the audience.
