In this week’s Space Cafè WebTalk, Christopher Johnson, Space Law Advisor at the Secure World Foundation talked about issues of developing the next phase of governance for space activities. That included the strengths and shortcomings of international, national, and contractual approaches to developing new norms for space activities. He shared some thoughts on larger questions related to space exploration and utilization, such as how broadly do consultations have to be in deciding what humanity can do in outer space.
He also answered relevant questions from the audience.
This Space Cafè WebTalk, held on 4 August 2020, was hosted by Torsten Kriening, publisher of SpaceWatch.Global. The Space Cafè WebTalk series is SpaceWatch.Global’s innovative webinar platform featuring global space experts.
