ispace, inc. has announced the former NASA astronaut and U.S. Air Force Colonel (Ret) Ronald J. Garan Jr as CEO of ispace Technologies U.S., inc. Mr. Garan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business economics from the State University of New York College at Oneonta and a Master of Aeronautical Science degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Neumann Space has announced that it has signed a contract with Space Inventor, a European microsatellite manufacturer, that will enable it to gain greater access to space as part of its program of in-orbit demonstration (IOD). As part of the contract, Space Inventor will provide Neumann Space with the opportunity to integrate its next-generation Neumann Drive as an IOD payload on board a 6U EDISON Satellite that will tentatively launch in the second half of 2024.
