Terran Orbital Corporation has announced final launch preparations for the RUNNER-1 satellite. The satellite launch aboard the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket as part of the Transporter-8 rideshare mission from SLC-4E at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, USA.

The Satellite Applications Catapult and Open Cosmos have signed an agreement to build and launch a key demonstration satellite to join the Open Cosmos OpenConstellation. As a result, the satellite will launch as early as Q1 2024. 

A new partnership was announced on the 7th of June between the Satellite Applications Catapult and GHGSat, a satellite-based and aerial remote sensing technology and emission data provider, to provide satellite data on domestic and international methane emissions for R&D in the UK. 

EOS Data Analytics, a global provider of AI-powered satellite imagery analytics, announced on the 5th of June that they are joining AgGateway, a global, non-profit organisation, with the purpose of developing resources and relationships to drive digital connectivity in global agriculture and related industries. 

Arianespace has announced the signature of a launch contract for the Earth observation satellite Kompsat-6 (KOrean Multi-Purpose SATellite-6) for the Korean Aerospace Research Institute (KARI). The launch company will subsequently deliver the satellite to orbit with the European light launcher Vega C from Europe’s Spaceport in French Guiana in December 2024.

Share My Space has signed a new contract with Astroscale to optimally enable Astroscale to assess space objects’ attitude in LEO, a requirement for any on-orbit rendezvous. Attitude analysis of space objects is a critical factor in ensuring environmental safety, mitigating the risk of catastrophic collisions in space, and preventing further polluting fragmentation. To that effect, Astroscale has called upon Share My Space’s value-added services in orbital object attitude analysis. 

Azista BST Aerospace will launch its first satellite ABA First Runner (AFR), aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket on 12th June 2023 as part of the Transporter 8 Mission. This follows from the Company's creation of a 50,000-square-foot facility capable of supporting the production of two satellites per week.

Inmarsat Maritime, a Viasat business, has announced its new Fleet Reach coastal LTE service for maritime connectivity, which brings uninterrupted high-speed broadband to merchant, offshore, energy, and fishing customers – even when they are sailing near the coast or are docked in-port.

On the 1st of June following the opening session of  the European Navigation Conference (ENC) the main procurement batch of Galileo Second Generation initiated last summer has been finalised. The system is ready for its In Orbit Validation development phase.
