Pixxel has won a multi-crore grant from iDEX (Innovations for Defence Excellence under the Ministry of Defence) for the Mission DefSpace Challenge under iDEX Prime (Space) to manufacture miniaturized multi-payload satellites for the Indian Air Force. Oixxel received this grant as part of the SPARK grants by iDEX. As a result, this grant will equip Pixxel to develop small satellites of up to 150 kgs for Electro-Optical, Infrared, Synthetic Aperture Radar, and Hyper Spectral purposes.

Bengaluru, 24 July 2023 - Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has announced the launch date for its PSLV-C56 / DS-SAR Mission from the launch pad at SDSC (Satish Dhawan Space Centre) - SHAR, in Sriharikota Nellore district in Andhra Pradesh as 30th July 2023 at 06:30 Hrs. The mission will carry the DS-SAR satellite which is developed under a partnership between DSTA (representing the Government of Singapore) and ST Engineering.

The payload launched aboard the Research Organization’s new heavy-lift launch vehicle LVM and is now on its way to the moon after getting to its precise orbit.

Ecuador and India have joined the ever-growing list of countries to become parties to the Artemis Accords, becoming the 26th and 27th signatories, respectively. Ecuador formally joined the Accords during a ceremony at the Ecuador embassy in Washington on Wednesday, with Karen Feldstein, NASA associate administrator for International and Interagency Relations, participating in the ceremony for the agency, and Gustavo Manrique Miranda, Ecuador’s foreign affairs minister, for Ecuador. On the other hand, the White House disclosed India's decision to become a signatory on Thursday, with NASA and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) also agreeing to a joint mission to the International Space Station in 2024,

Azista BST Aerospace will launch its first satellite ABA First Runner (AFR), aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket on 12th June 2023 as part of the Transporter 8 Mission. This follows from the Company's creation of a 50,000-square-foot facility capable of supporting the production of two satellites per week.

Pixxel has announced $36 Million in a Series B funding round with participation from new investors such as Google, along with existing investors Radical Ventures, Lightspeed, Blume Ventures, growX, Sparta, and Athera. The new funds will advance Pixxel’s mission to build the world’s first and highest-resolution hyperspectral satellite constellation, delivering actionable climate insights on a planetary scale. Australian company HEX20 has announced today that it is collaborating with various partners to launch the COSPAR Satellite.
