Lonestar to take Earth’s data to the Moon

Lonestar Data Holdings announced that it is launching a series of data centers to the lunar surface and it has already contracted three companies for its first two missions to the Moon and for the build of its data services payload. Rocket Lab signs multi-launch contract with HawkEye 360

Rocket Lab announced it has been selected by Virginia-based radio frequency geospatial analytics provider HawkEye 360, to launch three Electron missions. The first of the three missions is scheduled to be Rocket Lab’s inaugural Electron launch from Launch Complex 2, Virginia, planned for December this year.

Astrobotic unveils Peregrine lunar lander

Astrobotic unveiled the flight model of its Peregrine lunar lander that will fly to the Moon on a United Launch Alliance Vulcan Centaur rocket in Q4 2022 as part of NASA’s Commercial Lunar Payload Services initiative. Peregrine’s unveiling took place at Astrobotic’s headquarters in Pittsburgh with Congressman Matt Cartwright, NASA’s Bill Nelson, Dr. Thomas Zurbuchen, and James Reuter attending.

Astrocast joins the ‘Net Zero Space’ initiative
