The United Arab Emirates (UAE) announced its plans to develop a radar satellite constellation as part of the National Space Fund  worth over US $800 million to boost its space sector. The project makes the UAE the first Arab country to develop a constellation of SAR satellites.

In the first episode of Space Café Israel, Meidad Pariente is in conversation with Tal Inbar, a walking encyclopaedia of knowledge, a member of the History Committee of the International Academy of Astronautics; Board member of D-Mars, Israel's Mars simulations centre. He is also a national mentor for "Horizon", the Israel Space Agency community of space educators.

Saudi Arabia is the newest country to join the Artemis Accords, demonstrating its commitment to sustainable space exploration for the benefit of all mankind guided by a common set of principles, NASA said. The Accords was signed by the CEO of the Saudi Space Commission, Mohammed bin Saud Al-Tamimi, on behalf of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The UAE has been chosen to lead the United Nation’s Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS) committee with Omran Sharaf Emirati engineer serving as director of COPUOS in 2022 and 2023, the UAE reported.  COPUOS has 100 member states and has been in operation since 1959.
