Our Space Café WebTalk “33 minutes with Paul Liias – Is space legal in Estonia and why should you come to Tallinn for Halloween?” took place on Tuesday, 17th October 2023. Paul Liias is the Head of Space policy at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communication. Paul has created the Estonian Space Policy and Program 2020-2027. Today, he is working on Estonian national space legislation and a decentralized e-government solution for Space Traffic Management.

WGIC's Role and Growth: Aaron highlighted the significant growth in the geospatial and space sectors, emphasizing the successful experience at Intergeo. He introduced the World Geospatial Industry Council (WGIC) as a trade association aiming to unite various facets of the geospatial industry globally. The organization recently rebranded to reflect its diverse membership, which now includes traditional geospatial companies and newer entrants like satellite and ocean data companies.

On the last day of Intergeo 2023 in Berlin, our Torsten Kriening spoke with Marius Swanepoel, Director Maps - Geospatial Engineering at TomTom North America about data management in a highly connected environment and the challenges of free "navi" services. INTERGEO returned to the German capital Berlin! Externally in a different area of the exhibition grounds under the Radio Tower with the brand new Hub27 as the exhibition tree and conference centre.
