The President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Aleksandr Sergeyev, has stated that Russia intends to build a group of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) Earth observation satellites with assistance from the space and satellite industry of Belarus, according to Belarusian news agency BELTA.

The newly-appointed French ambassador to Bangladesh has stated that his country is interested in assisting Bangladesh launch its second communications satellite, Bangabandhu-2, during an audience with Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in late November 2019.

The Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) launched the 22nd edition of the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA) Humans in Space Symposium (HIS) at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. The UAE is the first country in the MENA region to host this conference, from 11 to 14 November 2019.

Glavkosmos, a subsidiary company of Russia's state space corporation Roscosmos, has signed an agreement with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) to provide life support and spacecraft thermal technologies for the Indian Gaganyaan human spaceflight programme.
