The annual GEOINT Symposium starts with the GEOINT FOREWORD Day. Torsten Kriening had the chance to summarise the day with the Vice President of Programs at USGIF, Christy Monaco. They spoke about the content areas covered, Quantum, AI – GeoGPT, PNT next gen, but also about the inspiring Foreword keynote by Peter Highnam, Ph.D., Principal Deputy, Critical Technologies, Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering and Dare King, Chief Operating Officer, Center for Cyber Intelligence, Central Intelligence Agency. Finally – education and outreach is close to USGIF and so the conversation concluded with their new education initiative.
