CONFERS Elects Joerg Kreisel as President of New Executive Committee

Ibadan, 15 April 2024. – The Consortium for Execution of Rendezvous and Servicing Operations (CONFERS) has announced its new executive committee, with iBOSS Chairman + Co-Founder Joerg Kreisel elected as President. The Association also elected Jon Beam, CEO of Rogue Space Systems Corporation, as Vice President, Dr Brien Flewelling, Director of Strategic Program Development at ExoAnalytic Solutions, as Secretary, and Joseph Anderson, Vice President of Space Logistics, LLC, as Treasurer.

CONFERS is an independent global trade association developing industry-led recommendations for standards and guiding international policies for satellite servicing that contribute to a sustainable, safe, and diverse space economy. Furthermore, the Association is open to membership by industry, academic research institutions, governments, and nonprofit and not-for-profit organizations and individuals who have an interest in furthering the commercial satellite servicing industry.

Following their election by the CONFERS Board of Directors, the new Executive Committee began a one-year term as Officers of the Association on April 10, 2024. The Executive Committee and Board of Directors are the CONFERS leadership and governance bodies with the authorization to oversee the activities of the association and to exercise all the powers and authority in managing the business and other affairs of the association.

The Executive Committee and Board’s specific responsibilities include approval of new members; removal of members that do not maintain member in Good Standing status; formation and management of other standing or temporary association committees, subcommittees and task forces as necessary; and dispute resolution between individual members, between members and the Board relating to matters arising under CONFERS by-laws connecting with other association business.
