Machina Labs welcomes former SpaceX, Relativity Space, and Carbon executives to Leadership Team

Edinburgh / Los Angeles, 27 December 2022. – AI and robotics company, Machina, Labs has welcomed new members into its executive team: manufacturing veterans Alex Huckstepp to serve as the new Vice President of Sales and Alexander Kwan as Vice President of Operations.

Huckstepp’s expertise lies in additive and advanced manufacturing, having partnered with innovative people and companies. He has also worked with next generation materials, manufacturing, and design technologies. Huckstepp ran sales & business development at ARRIS and Digital Alloys and before that led sales and business development at 3D printing technology company Carbon.

Kwan started his career in private equity before doing commercial sales at SpaceX. He brings industry experience across aerospace, manufacturing, and software development and has a track record of scaling businesses up to nationwide enterprises. Kwan most recently served as co-founder and CEO of Tragen, prior to that he was part of the founding team at Relativity Space. 

Machina Labs claims it is introducing unseen flexibility and agility to the manufacturing industry with their adaptable manufacturing platform. The company combines AI and robotics to deliver finished products in weeks instead of months or years.
