Capella Space closes US $97 million Series C financing round

Earth observation company Capella Space, announced a US $97 million Series C financing round led by venture capital firm NightDragon, with significant participation from existing investors DCVC and Cota Capital. Capella will use the funding to expand its services and continue providing 24/7 access to satellite analytics and imagery products.

Rocket Lab signs multi-launch contract with HawkEye 360

Rocket Lab announced it has been selected by Virginia-based radio frequency geospatial analytics provider HawkEye 360, to launch three Electron missions. The first of the three missions is scheduled to be Rocket Lab’s inaugural Electron launch from Launch Complex 2, Virginia, planned for December this year.

German EnMAP satellite launches aboard SpaceX’s Transporter-4 mission

SpaceX launched its Transporter-4 mission carrying 40 spacecraft, including CubeSats, microsats, picosats, non-deploying hosted payloads, and an orbital transfer vehicle to deploy spacecraft at a later time. The rideshare mission was the rocket booster’s seventh successful mission.
