In this special Space Café Radio in german language, three members of our SpaceWatch.Global team, Torsten KrieningAndreas Schepers, and Chiara Moenter and special guest Daniel Finger, discuss the importance and role of space communication. This conversation took place during the final days of this year’s ILA Berlin which is the largest aerospace trade show in Germany which took place June 22 – 26, 2022.

In the episode, Daniel, Torsten, Andreas, and Chiara discuss their impressions of the ILA, the importance of space sustainability, and how to communicate space effectively to certain audiences. Listen as we tackle questions such as: does space have an attention problem? Is it our responsibility to communicate space enthusiasm more or is it the responsibility of others to inform themselves? Which methods and media should we use to communicate space effectively? Who are we trying to reach?

China Launches Chang’e 6 to the Dark Side of the Moon

China has launched its Chang'e 6 mission from the Wenchang Space Launch Center to the far side of the moon. The Chang'e probe will tentatively land in the South Pole-Aitken Basin, with the aim of collecting about two kilograms of lunar samples, including lunar soil and rocks, which it will subsequently try to return back to Earth.
