Day 29 – #SpaceWatchME helps – Donation Campaign

The Balkans and Greece – 2015/2016

Faced with the European Migrant Crisis, TSF set up internet for migrants allowing them to make the most of the vital tool for survival that is their mobile phone. From September 2015 through to June 2016, TSF provided 7 satellite internet connections across the migration route from the Greek islands through to Macedonia and Serbia, allowing 352,052 unique devices to connect to the internet.

From December 1st, SpaceWatch Middle East and its partners PTScientists, neuco, NewSpace People will run a Christmas Donation Campaign 2016. We will donate 100% of the raised money to two organisations: Télécoms Sans Frontières (TSF) and Disaster Tech Labs (DTL).
