Day 19 – #SpaceWatchME helps – Donation Campaign

Idomeni, Greece – May 2016

As of March 2016, over 12,000 people found themselves stranded in Idomeni (Greece). Each individual had put their life at risk in order to seek peace in Europe. Many people had lost their mobile phones along the route, or had had them confiscated by authorities. TSF offered calls to over 2,778 families so they could get in touch with their loved ones at home and abroad, many of whom had not had any news for several months.

China has launched its Chang'e 6 mission from the Wenchang Space Launch Center to the far side of the moon. The Chang'e probe will tentatively land in the South Pole-Aitken Basin, with the aim of collecting about two kilograms of lunar samples, including lunar soil and rocks, which it will subsequently try to return back to Earth.
