
Ibadan, 8 June 2026. – Joerg Kreisel, Chairman and Co-Founder of iBOSS has been reelected as the Consortium for Execution of Rendezvous and Servicing Operations’ (CONFERS) President for the third consecutive time as the Consortium announces the results of its recent Board of Directors and Executive Committee elections.
Kreisel was first elected as the president of the Consortium in April 2024 and was re-elected for the first time in April last year. Together with the iBOSS Chairman, David Barnhart of Arkisys, Jon Beam of Rogue Space Systems and Tahara Dawkins from Astroscale U.S. were also elected for the Executive Committee to serve as Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer respectively for the next one year.
In addition to the executive committee, Consortium members re-elected Jon Beam, Victor Nifo of MDA Space, and Vadym Vasyliev of Kurs Orbital for a three-year term on the Board of Directors. Further CONFERS board members are the directors Joe Anderson of Space Logistics, Catherine Doldirina of D-Orbit and Brian Weeden of The Aerospace Corporation.
The newly elected leaders will subsequently guide CONFERS as it continues its mission of developing industry-led recommendations for voluntary consensus standards and guiding international policies for servicing that contribute to a sustainable, safe, and diverse space economy.
“The continued growth and maturation of the in-space servicing, assembly and manufacturing (ISAM) sector depends on strong industry leadership and collaboration,” remarked CONFERS Executive Director, Brian Lagana, about the elections.

CONFERS is an independent global trade association developing industry-led recommendations for standards and guiding international policies for satellite servicing that contribute to a sustainable, safe, and diverse space economy.
The Consortium unites commercial companies, government organizations, research institutions, and other stakeholders from around the world to develop consensus-based approaches that promote safety, transparency, interoperability, and sustainability in space operations. The organization’s recommendations have also helped inform industry practices and international discussions regarding the future of in-space servicing and orbital sustainability and drive ISAM developments at global scale.
