Ibadan, 9 May 2025. – SkyFi and OroraTech have entered into a strategic partnership to bring space-based thermal monitoring and wildfire detection to a broader US audience through SkyFi’s Earth intelligence platform.

This partnership marks a meaningful step into the US market for OroraTech where demand for fast, reliable fire monitoring is growing. Upon integration, SkyFi’s platform will offer OroraTech visibility and access to a wide range of US and global users across industries and sectors, from emergency response teams to insurance and infrastructure.

SkyFi is already working with the City of Los Angeles to support post-fire imagery needs, a signal that the demand for fire-related monitoring is not just theoretical but it’s active and urgent.

Ileisa Lambert, Director of Partnerships at SkyFi, explained the partnership’s importance, noting, “OroraTech is the first of its kind on the SkyFi marketplace, bringing real-time thermal monitoring that’s essential for life-saving efforts and for building more resilient communities. But it’s not just about detection. Their data helps forecast and reduce risk across oil and gas, commodities trading, insurance, and infrastructure.”

Lambert concluded, “This partnership expands access to critical fire intelligence and makes it easier than ever for users to get the insights they need, exactly when they need them.” Together, SkyFi and OroraTech are working on direct project collaboration and planning future integration to simplify how users interact with thermal fire monitoring data.

Steve Maisonet, Sales Director of OroraTech USA, also commented, “Integrating OroraTech’s wildfire detection into the SkyFi ecosystem means more people can access critical thermal insights when and where they need them. Together, we’re making advanced fire intelligence easier to use, so customers can act faster, reduce risk, and protect what matters most.”
