On Day 2 of #IAC2024 in Milan, Torsten Kriening sat down with Dr. Eran Privman, Space Mission Manager at brain.space, to explore the revolutionary world of brain data as a service, both in space and on Earth!
They have created a database of brain data using machine learning to predict mental and cognitive states. Initially, their work was not space-related but shifted towards space applications two years ago when they were approached by Rakia Mission to monitor astronauts’ mental states. They have already sent their brain data-measuring helmet to space and are developing a second-generation model for both space and ground use. Future applications include adjusting daily tasks based on cognitive and mental states, such as driving.
Their innovative “helmet” technology, used during the Rakia Mission on AX-1 by Israeli astronaut Eytan Stibbe, is pushing the boundaries of neuroscience. Curious about how this tech could change the world? Tune in to learn more about its game-changing potential!
