Dr. Emma Gatti talks with Martin Sarret of Enpulsion GmbH about their FEEP technology and mission to make launches faster, more affordable, and more efficient. Enpulsion, a seven-year-old company specializing in field emission electric propulsion (FEEP) technology, has moved its production to Vienna Airport to expand its capacity and facilitate export logistics. The company, which is 100% export-based, has 200 thrusters in orbit, doubling this number in a year, providing valuable data for product development. Enpulsion has not sought venture capital, opting for a pure commercial growth model to maintain control over financial decisions. They are currently scaling up their Nano thruster and developing a new product, the Neo, for larger satellites, with plans for launch in 2024.
