Ibadan, 27 February 2026. – Infinite Orbits has announced its acquisition of LMO’s Luxembourg-based operations, a specialist in autonomous space systems, after years of strong partnership between both companies. The acquisition establishes Infinite Orbits’ operational presence in Luxembourg, reinforcing its European footprint after the expansion of its team in France and in Spain.
The acquisition, which will be fully finalized within 15 days, marks a strategic step in Infinite Orbits’ ambition to build a European sovereign infrastructure in orbit at a time when protection of high-value assets has become a structural priority for governments and operators worldwide.
Acquiring LMO will subsequently strengthen Infinite Orbits’ ‘Orbit Guard’ geostationary surveillance microsatellite’s capacity. ‘Orbit Guard’ inspects, monitors and safeguards geostationary satellites, resulting in an enhanced ability to deliver advanced on-board monitoring, improve space situational awareness and long-term protection of strategic space assets by integrating it with LMO’ software capabilities to deliver fast and already processed data
“Europe’s space sovereignty depends on mastering and consolidating the technologies that protect our infrastructure in orbit,” said Adel Haddoud, CEO of Infinite Orbits. “By integrating LMO’s expertise, we are reinforcing Orbit Guard’s technological backbone and taking another step toward building Europe’ s surveillance capacities.”
The transaction also unites in-orbit servicing and advanced orbital data analytics within a single European industrial framework, strengthening rendezvous & proximity operations capabilities for In-Orbit Servicing missions like Infinite Orbits’ life extension servicer, Endurance.
“By joining Infinite Orbits, we are vertically integrating advanced Space Situational Awareness and Rendezvous capabilities with proven in-orbit servicing platforms.” said Michel Poucet, CEO of LMO. “Together, we are uniting complementary European expertise to build a resilient, sovereign and fully integrated space surveillance capability for the long term.”
Last November, Infinite Orbits successfully closed an oversubscribed €40 million financing round towards becoming Europe’s leading provider of in-orbit servicing. The successful round set Infinite Orbits’ expansion goal in motion, marking the beginning of a new phase for the company.
