
Ibadan, 11 March 2025. – The International Space University (ISU) has announced that the Space Studies Program (SSP) 2026 will be hosted at its Central Campus in Strasbourg, France.
The decision marks a pivotal step in ISU’s new strategic vision, MOON SHOT 2030, reinforcing the university’s position as a global leader in space education and a key resource in the evolving New Space Economy.
Since its inception in 1988, the SSP has brought together future space sector leaders, offering an immersive, interdisciplinary, and international learning experience. With SSP 2026 returning to ISU’s headquarters, participants will have a unique opportunity to engage directly with ISU’s faculty, research initiatives, and global network while benefiting from the university’s well-established facilities and space ecosystem in Strasbourg, France.
Furthermore, SSP 2026 will set the stage for the program’s evolution, ensuring that it remains at the forefront of space education and workforce development. Likewise, the experience will allow participants to engage with renowned experts, cutting-edge research, and the broader space community while immersing themselves in the dynamic space industry of Europe.

Additionally, as part of ISU’s commitment to expanding global collaborations, the University will consider all proposals it received for hosting the SSP 2026 for future editions, including SSP 2027 and SSP 2028. ISU remains dedicated to fostering partnerships with institutions and organizations worldwide to bring space education to new regions.
