“UK Space Policy – Back to the Future”. In this discussion, Prof. Chris Newman will explore recent developments in UK space law and policy. He will explore the recent laws and regulations enacted by the UK in furtherance of the development of a sovereign launch capability. He will also discuss the decision of the UK to try and push the international community to develop norms of behaviour in space.

In addition, Chris will discuss his recent SpaceWatch.Global feature on the space law games and how this unique collaboration between academia, governments and commercial space will help to identify gaps in the information available from space.

This Space Café WebTalk will be hosted by Torsten Kriening, publisher of SpaceWatch.Global. The audience will have an opportunity to ask questions in dialogue with Prof. Newman.
