Yahsat, the UAE-based satellite operator, announced on 28 November 2016 that it has signed an agreement with a local service partner, Teknomobil Inc, to distribute its satellite broadband service, YahClick, to users across Turkey.
Farhad Khan, Chief Commercial Officer, Yahsat said, “Historically, Turkey has been a significant market for satellite services and over the last few years it has exhibited a substantial surge in the demand for high-speed broadband. With the introduction of high throughput satellites and the availability of higher bandwidth, an increasing number of government and private organizations are switching to broadband services that are cost effective.
