Germany based Space Domain Awareness company Vyoma has disclosed the successful in-space commissioning of its Flamingo-1 platform. The platform includes a telescope, the first large-aperture instrument in Europe launched for space-based space surveillance.
Vyoma will subsequently complete the commissioning phase of Flamingo-1 payload before beginning routine operations with the satellite generating space surveillance data around the clock, operated by Vyoma’s own Mission Operations team.
