Ibadan, 20 October 2025. – Leaf Space has been awarded ‘Scale-Up of the Year’ at the first Astrospace Awards, announced during the SPLORAZIONI 2025 event in Torino on 11 October 2025.

The jury cited Leaf Space for scaling one of the sector’s least visible yet most essential domains: ground communications for satellites.

Leaf Space is currently working on scaling network expansion and operational resilience while maintaining the commercial momentum across its goals and objectives. For example:

  • Operations and tooling: Leaf Space is also instituting company-wide initiatives on observability and predictive operations, with standardized SLAs, maintenance and test processes across the network.

Commenting on the ‘Scale-up pf the year award’, Cristina Zanchi, CEO of Leaf Space. remarked, “We’re proud to receive this recognition, it proves that innovation in space doesn’t always need the spotlight. Sometimes it’s about building the invisible infrastructure that makes everything else possible”.

Leaf Space’s Leaf Line service provides access to an owned network of ground stations via a unified interface, near real time mission data delivery, TT&C and payload support. The service also includes transparent per-minute pricing with dedicated mission management and 24×7 support.
