Leaf Space Establishes Japanese Presence with Infostellar Partnership

Ibadan, 31 October 2025. – Leaf Space, a leading provider of ground segment-as-a-service (GSaaS) and Infostellar, a cloud-based ground segment aggregator, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to formalize a strategic partnership.

Under the terms of the agreement, Infostellar will become the exclusive representative of Leaf Space in the Japanese market, responsible for marketing, business development, and channeling engagement with satellite operators.

The collaboration combines Leaf Space’s robust, globally distributed ground station network and state-of-the-art mission management software with Infostellar’s deep relationships, local market insight, and traction in Japan’s space ecosystem.

Together, the two firms aim to consequently accelerate satellite operators’ access to high-performance ground connectivity, simplify mission operations, and expand service offerings for both parties.

Per the agreement, Infostellar will have exclusive rights to represent Leaf Space’s GSaaS services to Japanese satellite or mission operators. Infostellar will also lead all outbound sales, proposals, partner outreach, and account management in Japan, with coordination and support from Leaf Space.

Furthermore, the parties will co-develop localized marketing campaigns, proposals, technical workshops, and promotional materials geared to customers. They may additionally host joint events or webinars to present Leaf Space’s ground services under Infostellar’s local brand presence.

Leaf Space will also integrate with Infostellar’s StellarStation to allow seamless access to Leaf Space assets via Infostellar’s ground-station virtualization layer. Joint OKRs will be set for uptime, scheduling performance, service SLAs, and customer success.

Similarly, Naomi Kurahra, CEO, Infostellar stated, “By representing Leaf Space exclusively in Japan, we can deliver broader service choices to our customers while ensuring seamless integration and support within the Japanese space ecosystem.”
