Today, 30 May 2025 makes 50 years since the Convention signature at the Conference of Plenipotentiaries in Paris establishing the European Space Agency (ESA). On 30 May 1975, ten founding Member States signed the Convention which has since expanded to 23 Member States, three Associate Members, four Cooperating States and a Cooperation Agreement with Canada.
