🔹 With nearly 12,000 participants from civil, commercial, and military sectors, this year’s symposium offered a powerful display of international collaboration.
🔬 Pascale highlighted the critical role of science and research, reflected in the vibrant Space Science Track, which featured updates on missions in:
- Earth observation
- Space weather
- JWST and deep space research
🌐 COSPAR’s Mission: Connecting the Dots
COSPAR continues to drive scientific collaboration across nations and sectors, from industry to academia. Their focus this year includes:
- A new Space Weather Roadmap (700 scientists, 50 countries involved — to be released summer 2025)
- An updated Planetary Protection Roadmap developed with agencies, the UN, and leading scientists
- The upcoming 6th COSPAR Symposium in Nicosia, Cyprus, Nov 3–7: 🛰️ “Humanity’s Challenges and Celestial Solutions” ☁️ Topics: climate change, space weather, space exploration, sustainability 📝 Abstract submissions open until April 23rd
