The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and the European Space Agency (ESA) have signed a joint statement regarding the continuation, expansion, and deepening of the cooperative relationship between the agencies. The signing happened during an inter-agency meeting between both Agencies with JAXA President, Hiroshi Yamakawa, and ESA Director General, Josef Aschbacher in attendance.
