Join SpaceWatch.Global for an interesting and informative Space Café WebTalk featuring Elina Morozova, Executive Director of the Intersputnik International Organization of Space Communications (Intersputnik), Moscow, Russia. This event will take place on 09 February 2021 at 4:00 pm CET.

Elina Morozova will discuss the current status of intergovernmental satellite organizations focusing on Intersputnik, which celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2021.

She will also talk about the role of Intersputnik and its counterparts in refining international space and telecommunications law, policy, and multi-stakeholder dialogue by means of participating in the work of the United Nations system organizations dealing with outer space and telecom issues, as well as by accepting the rights and obligations under the United Nations treaties on outer space.

Being a space law enthusiast, Elina Morozova will also touch upon how the field is progressing in Russia and some local projects in which she is involved.

This Space Café WebTalk will be hosted by Torsten Kriening, publisher of SpaceWatch.Global. The audience will have an opportunity to ask questions in dialogue with Elina Morozova.

The signing certified Slovenia’s commitment to pursue safe and sustainable exploration of space for the benefit of humanity and took place during a U.S.-Slovenia strategic dialogue in Ljubljana, Slovenia, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Offices.
