Dr Mehul ‘Micky’ Mehta joins Celestia UK as CEO

Celestia UK announced the appointment of Dr Mehul ‘Micky’ Mehta as CEO to manage its ambitious growth plans in the fields of Antenna, RF and Signal Processing technologies. Before joining Celestia UK, Micky was co-founder and VP Modem Design at Blu Wireless Technology, responsible for PHY layer design and development. He brings a wealth of technical and commercial knowledge having worked in the wireless communications industry for over 25 years. Micky has deep understanding of several radio communication systems, with hands-on expertise in Digital Communications, Information theory, Signal Processing, and RF systems.

Taking the helm at Celestia UK comes at a pivotal moment for the company, part of the pan-European Celestia Technologies Group, as Micky explains. “I am focused on generating value in the company through innovation and a can-do attitude. We are already developing genuinely disruptive solutions for the ‘difficult’ problems in Radio Communications. Celestia UK is a young start-up, one that is growing rapidly into an exciting workplace and I intend to foster that growth and value proposition over the coming years. We are building a dynamic and versatile team at Celestia UK, one that has demonstrable theoretical and practical knowledge across a range of different technical domains,” he adds.
