Referencing the new website and branding, David Meltzer commented, “GVF’s new website and our heightened and refreshed branding will serve to enhance the value of membership for those organizations which engage with our many varied initiatives and programmes, and also bring an elevated level of international attention to the role of GVF in contributing its resources to guide the industry in focusing on key evolving issues impacting the communications and other commercial satellite applications environments.”

Mr. Meltzer also noted, “Our online presence is a key informational portal through which our members and other key industry stakeholders can be kept apprised of GVF’s leadership in advocacy with the global regulatory community on behalf of the industry.  Our enhanced online presence will better enable our members from around the world take advantage of online and classroom training, industry conferences, and industry working groups on topics that include international regulatory matters, sustainable space operations, and disaster relief.”

Irina Petrov, GVF’s recently appointed Vice President for Marketing and Member Services, who will join David Meltzer in representing GVF at SATELLITE 2019, added, “I have been a strong supporter of GVF since its inception and having recently joined the association as a full-time staff member I have been pleased to contribute to the coordination of this next step in the development of GVF’s online presence and its new branding profile. Now already into its third decade, GVF has recently entered a period of new leadership and it is only fitting that we have a revised and complementary identity.”
