Day 21 – #SpaceWatchME helps – Donation Campaign

Haiti – October 2016

Category 5 Hurricane Matthew swept through the western tip of Haiti in October 2016, causing over 1,000 fatalities and isolating hundreds of thousands of people already weakened by the 2010 earthquake. TSF provided calls to 550 households (representing almost 2,500 people). In some cases, people had not been able to get in touch with their families for over 5 years – since the earthquake.
