Day 11 – #SpaceWatchME helps – Donation Campaign

Vanuatu – 2015

Cyclone Pam blew through Vanuatu in March 2015, cutting communications and isolating its 81 islands from one another. TSF provided satellite internet to each of the 6 provinces in order to reinforce communications and coordination efforts, whilst providing a calling service to some 1,147 families on the most affected islands.

From December 1st, SpaceWatch Middle East and its partners PTScientists, neuco, NewSpace People will run a Christmas Donation Campaign 2016. We will donate 100% of the raised money to two organisations: Télécoms Sans Frontières (TSF) and Disaster Tech Labs (DTL).

The European Space Agency (ESA) has transferred Ariane 6's upper composite with the payloads that it will launch to Europe’s Spaceport in French Guiana.
