Chris Emerson Appointed as Chairman of ALL.SPACE

ALL.SPACE has announced the appointment of Chris Emerson, a former airspace executive, as Chairman of its Board of directors. Emerson's leadership experience, which he has proven in his previous senior executive roles at Airbus, as well as his current engagement in the space industry, will be key in guiding ALL.SPACE as it moves its fifth generation 'smart terminal' into initial production, set for release in Q4 2023.

Viasat Provides Status of Inmarsat-6 F2

Viasat Inc. has confirmed that its Inmarsat-6 F2 (I6 F2) satellite, which launched on February 18, 2023, has suffered a power subsystem anomaly during its orbit-raising phase. At this stage, Viasat and Airbus, the satellite’s manufacturer, are working to determine the root cause of the anomaly and assess whether the satellite will be able to perform its mission.

Satys Opens a New Facility Dedicated to Satellite Painting

Satys Aerospace has announced that it is now extending its activities into the space sector after commissioning a facility dedicated to the painting of satellite parts. This new extension is in partnership with Airbus, which had representatives at the inauguration. ICEYE and ESA are Partnering on Space Entrepreneurship

The European Space Agency (ESA) and ICEYE have signed a letter of intent to empower entrepreneurship and encourage the development of commercially viable and sustainability-minded space solutions.
