Telespazio Belgium Leads Consortium to Build Ground Infrastructure for ESA’s PROSPECT Lunar Mission

Telespazio BeNeLux has been selected by the European Space Agency (ESA) to design and deliver the ground infrastructure for PROSPECT, a lunar mission that will drill beneath the Moon’s south pole to search for water ice and other volatile compounds.

The company will lead a consortium including Luxembourg’s EarthLab Luxembourg and Hungary’s Astro42 to deliver the mission’s operations center ahead of its planned 2027 flight.
