HyImpulse Secures UK Launch License, Targets 2027 SaxaVord Flight

German launch company HyImpulse has secured a UK launch operator license from the UK Civil Aviation Authority, clearing a key regulatory hurdle for its planned suborbital launch from SaxaVord Spaceport in Scotland.

The company is targeting spring 2027 for the first flight of its SR75 vehicle, which will carry research and technology demonstration payloads as HyImpulse continues development of its larger SL1 rocket for future orbital launches.
