Helsing and OHB Establish Joint Venture “KIRK” for Tactical Space-Based Reconnaissance Systems

Helsing and OHB are establishing a joint venture to develop a space-based tactical surveillance, reconnaissance and targeting system.

At the same time, the two companies, through the joint venture, are assuming joint leadership of a consortium comprising Helsing, Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace and HENSOLDT, which OHB is now joining. The consortium aims to address a critical capability gap on the modern battlefield.
