Intuitive Machines has won a $180.4 million NASA contract to deliver seven science and technology payloads to the Lunar South Pole Region under the agency's Commercial Lunar Payload Services initiative.
The contract award is Intuitive Machines’ fifth CLPS task order but the first to require a larger Nova-D lunar lander to deliver science and technology payloads and return valuable data, while operating autonomously on the lunar surface.
