Ibadan, 18 February 2026. – Exotrail has signed three major contracts covering the supply of several dozen electric propulsion systems to XDLINX Labs, PIXXEL, and Dhruva Space, three Indian space companies, illustrating the fundamental role that the space industry plays in Franco-Indian cooperation.

The contract comes as part of French President, Emmanuel Macron’s visit to India for the inauguration of the Indo-French Year of Innovation, to which Exotrail was invited as part of the presidential delegation.

With XDLINX Labs, a small satellite mission designer and operator for global commercial and defense ISR missions, Exotrail signed a contract for 16 flight models of its spaceware™ micro class. XDLINX Labs had previously purchased the first model of the micro class back in 2024.

On the other hand, Exotrail signed a fresh contract with Pixxel, a planetary intelligence company building and operating advanced imaging satellites, to equip its space infrastructure with Exotrail’s top-tier spaceware™ propulsion systems. In the same vein, Dhruva Space, an end to-end space infrastructure company delivering modular micro and mini satellites, ordered 14 of Exotrail’s propulsion systems.

spaceware™, and its nano, micro, mini and cluster product configurations, is Exotrail’s space-proven Hall-Effect electric propulsion system for satellites, ranging from 10 to 1,000 kg. With the spaceware™ portfolio, the French space company’s customers are thus able to benefit from having world-class propulsion solutions fly all their cutting-edge missions.

More so, spaceware™ drastically improves satellite deployment, increases service performance, and contributes to the reduction of space pollution as a result of its high thrust and modularity. Having established its spaceware™ propulsion systems as the go-to solution for its Indian partners, Exotrail is consequently consolidating its leading position by delivering reliable and flexible support for critical Indian missions.

“There is no doubt the Indian space ecosystem is booming, and we are proud the new players are placing their trust in our products to build next generation Indian space capabilities,” remarked Jean-Luc Maria, Exotrail’s CEO. “Exotrail’s propulsion systems are an export success, because they meet the performance and flexibility the Earth Observation markets requires, and we build up the industrial facilities to follow our customers’ pace.”
