Lagos, 11 February 2026. – Dcubed GmbH has entered into a strategic partnership with EnduroSat to support the serial production of the latter’s next-generation ESPA-class satellite platform, FRAME. Under the agreement, Dcubed will supply its flight-proven HDRMs for critical deployment functions on board the spacecraft.
The FRAME generation of satellites results from over a decade of in-orbit experience and invaluable customer feedback. The satellites boast modular, high-performance avionics with up to 3.5kW of peak power and a 2GBPS data rate, making them highly configurable for a variety of advanced applications.
Designed for constellations and responsive space applications, FRAME satellites feature a cableless bus design developed entirely in-house, allowing for assembly and functional testing in just a few hours, significantly faster than typical satellite builds today. The Gen3 ESPA-class satellites will subsequently complement EnduroSat’s flight-proven lineup of smallsat buses and components.
As part of the partnership, Dcubed’s Micro Release Nuts (uD3RN) will also be used to deploy the satellite’s solar array power subsystems in orbit, one of the most mission-critical phases of any spacecraft operation. Dcubed’s selection thereby reflects its strong technical heritage, proven in-flight performance, and ability to meet demanding program constraints.
“Dcubed is excited to work as a strategic partner with leading New Space companies like EnduroSat across the US and Europe,” remarked Markus Geiss, Chief Commercial Officer at Dcubed. “By leveraging our existing release mechanism and power subsystem technologies, we are helping enable the space infrastructure of the future.”
Last October, EnduroSat entered a similar sales agreement with Solestial for its radiation-hardened silicon solar power modules to provide the primary power for the FRAME satellites. With its new space manufacturing center, also launched last year, EnduroSat intends to mass-produce up to 60 FRAME satellites per month starting Q2 2026.
