Portugal Signs Artemis Accords, Bringing the Number of Partner Countries to 60

Portugal has become the 60th nation to join the U.S. led Artemis community, with the country's Secretary of State for Science and Innovation Helena Canhão signing the Artemis Accords on behalf of the country on Sunday, January 11.

Furthermore, a ceremony to recognize the signing was held on Monday in Lisbon, during a semi-annual meeting between the United States and Portugal to discuss cooperation between the two governments.
