NASA has welcomed Bangladesh as the 54th signatory to the Artemis Accords, following a signing ceremony on Tuesday, 8 April, in Bangladesh’s capital city, Dhaka. Ashraf Uddin, Bangladesh's secretary of defense, signed the Artemis Accords on behalf of the country. Likewise, Charge d’Affaires Tracey Jacobson of the U.S. Embassy in Dhaka, Bangladesh, participated in the event, and Petro contributed remarks in a pre-recorded video message.
