
Ibadan, 10 March 2025. – SuperMap has signed a cooperation framework agreement with Neo Space Group (NSG) to advance the Saudi region’s geospatial technology.
The agreement aims to foster collaboration in the field of geographic information, supporting the development of Saudi Arabia’s geospatial technology sector and contributing to the realization of the Kingdom’s “Vision 2030” goals.
The ceremony enjoyed participation from key representatives from both organizations. Eng. Abdulaziz Bin Suleiman Bin Abdulrahman Al-Faraj, CEO of NSG, and Mr. Wang Haitao, Vice President of SuperMap and President of its International Division, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective companies.
Last month, SuperMap established a local office in Saudi Arabia to strengthen its presence and support regional initiatives, underscoring its dedication to fostering long-term partnerships and driving innovation in the Middle East.
Consequently, this collaboration between SuperMap and NSG intends to inject new energy into geospatial technology development in Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East. Furthermore, it aims to pave the way for transformative solutions in urban planning, environmental management, and infrastructure development sectors.
Eng. Abdulaziz emphasized the importance of the partnership, stating, “Collaborating with SuperMap is a pivotal step in advancing Saudi Arabia’s geospatial industry and technological capabilities. We look forward to delivering innovative GIS solutions that will benefit not only Saudi Arabia but the broader Middle East region.”
In a similar vein, Mr. Wang Haitao expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting SuperMap’s commitment to supporting Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation. “We are excited to work with NSG to explore future directions in geospatial technology and contribute to the Kingdom’s technological advancement,” he remarked.
