Ibadan, March 21 2025. – Exotrail France has secured a contract with Maiaspace to keep on building the manifest of its spacevan in-orbit services missions. This agreement with MaiaSpace increases Exotrails’ options for its customers as well as opens the way for the next missions in Low Earth Orbit (LEO).
Exotrail is building the next phases of its spacevan™ family of vehicles, after a successful first mission that demonstrated satellite delivery, in-space demonstration, and validation, as well as mobility capabilities. Consequently, the company has secured three other missions in 2027, with two in LEO and the other towards the geostationary orbit.
Notably, Exotrail is working with MaiaSpace to build the following missions in its manifest and provide its customers with missions enabled by European access to space. As a result, Exotrail is proud to be MaiaSpace’s first commercial customer as its first launch gets closer. Furthermore, this partnership opens the way for long-term collaboration and extends the synergies between the two companies.
With the flexibility of MaiaSpace’s launcher in its two versions, reusable and expandable, spacevan™ missions will widen the possibilities for Exotrail customers. Due to the mobility and hosting capabilities of the spacevan™ platform, MaiaSpace clientele will also enjoy extended options for deployment and services.
Commenting on the collaboration, Yohann Leroy, Maiaspace CEO stated, “This agreement provides added flexibility for Exotrail’s access to reliable launch opportunities tailored to its customers’ needs and reinforces MaiaSpace’s ambition to become a leading player in European space transportation.”
Likewise, Jean-Luc Maria, CEO & Cofounder of Exotrail added, “At Exotrail the spacevan™ manifest is building up, and we are happy to team up with a trusted partner such as MaiaSpace for our access to space. This contract opens new perspectives for customers who seek reliable and secured delivery in space for their payload.”
