Minister President Winfried Kretschmann has formally opened TESAT's new production facility for the industrial production of laser terminals and equipment for satellite communications. The Minister opened the facility in the presence of representatives of the German Space Agency at DLR, the Baden-Württemberg state parliament and the city of Backnang, Upon operation, the facility will be able to manufacture up to 100 units per month from the one per year, a few years ago, consequently enabling TESAT to expand its position in the rapidly growing market.
