Türkiye has launched its first communication satellite TURKSAT-6A on SpaceX's Falcon 9 from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. ASELSAN, Türkiye’s leading defence company developed the satellite, equipping it with Ku-Band and X-Band communication payloads. The key development consequently places Türkiye within a new league of countries capable of producing their communication satellites.
