Ibadan, 17 July 2024. – Ramon.Space, has launched its new subsidiary, Ramon.Space UK, marking the company’s first European office and continuing its mission to advance space computing and communications on a global scale. Consequently, Ramon.Space UK will serve as a key engineering hub, driving innovation and accelerating advancements in space computing and communications both within the UK and globally.

Furthermore, the company is embarking on significant hiring initiatives to attract top local talent, aiming to enhance its engineering capabilities and foster cutting-edge innovation. The strategic location at Surrey Research Park, a renowned hub for research, development, and commercial space companies operated by The University of Surrey, will provide Ramon.Space with access to a community of space innovators and researchers – creating ample opportunities for collaboration and joint initiatives.

Likewise, the UK space industry has been experiencing significant growth, adding £7 billion in value to the economy in 2022 and supporting 48,800 jobs, with projections indicating the industry could be valued at over £40 billion by 2030. Ramon.Space aims to capitalize on this opportunity, offering computing solutions that ensure reliable and robust performance in the harshest environments. For the government sector, this also means secure, radiation-hardened technology that supports critical operations, ensuring unmatched security and resilience.
